Store Credit & Trade-In Terms

PRIME 151 COLLECTIBLES

STORE CREDIT AND TRADE-IN TERMS

Effective Date: August 11, 2026 Version: 1.1

Your Treasures, Our Mission.

These Terms are incorporated into and governed by our Terms of Service.

REVISION HISTORY

  • August 11, 2026 (v1.1): Removed gift card provisions. Prime 151 Collectibles does not currently sell or issue gift cards. Document retitled and refocused on the three forms of credit we do issue: store credit, trade in credit, and event prize credit. Expanded the trade in section.
  • August 11, 2026 (v1.0): Initial publication.

SECTION 1 — WHAT THIS COVERS

1.1 These Terms apply to the three forms of credit we issue:

  • Store credit, issued as a claim resolution, as a refund where a refund to the original payment method is not possible, or as goodwill
  • Trade in credit, issued for items we buy or accept in trade
  • Event prize credit, awarded at tournaments and events

1.2 We do not currently sell or issue gift cards. If that changes, we will publish gift card terms before the first card is sold, and nothing in these Terms will be applied retroactively to reduce a balance you already hold.

1.3 If someone offers to sell you a "Prime 151 gift card," it is not from us. Please report it to support@prime151.com.

SECTION 2 — HOW STORE CREDIT WORKS

2.1 Store credit is redeemable toward merchandise at prime151.com and at our retail counter, 358 Broadway Mall, Suite 460, Booth 11, Hicksville, NY 11801.

2.2 It is not redeemable on third party marketplaces including eBay, TCGplayer, CardTrader, Mana Pool, TikTok Shop, Temu, or live selling platforms, because those platforms control their own checkout.

2.3 It may be applied to merchandise, tax, and shipping unless a specific promotion says otherwise.

2.4 It may be combined with discount codes and promotions unless a promotion says otherwise.

2.5 It may be used across multiple purchases until the balance is exhausted.

2.6 Credit is tied to your account and is not transferable to another person. Bring the email address or phone number the credit is under.

SECTION 3 — NO EXPIRATION, NO FEES

3.1 Store credit issued by Prime 151 Collectibles does not expire.

3.2 We do not charge dormancy fees, inactivity fees, service fees, or maintenance fees of any kind.

3.3 We could put a clock on it. We choose not to. Your credit is yours until you spend it.

SECTION 4 — NOT REDEEMABLE FOR CASH

4.1 Store credit is not redeemable for cash, except where applicable law requires cash redemption of a remaining balance. If your state provides that right, tell us and we will honor it.

4.2 Store credit has no cash value, is not a deposit account, does not earn interest, and is not a security or a payment instrument.

4.3 Where a purchase paid with store credit is refunded, the refund returns to store credit, not to cash or card.

4.4 Where an order was paid partly by card and partly by credit, a refund is allocated proportionally: credit back to credit, card back to card.

SECTION 5 — CHECKING YOUR BALANCE

Log in to your account at prime151.com, ask at the counter, or email support@prime151.com with the email address on the account.

SECTION 6 — TRADE-IN CREDIT

6.1 We are not obligated to buy. We may decline any item, collection, or trade for any reason, including condition, authenticity concerns, category, our current stock levels, and market conditions. A declined trade is not a judgment of you or your collection.

6.2 Offers are made in person or in writing, based on our assessment of condition, authenticity, demand, and current market. Offers are valid only for the visit or the period stated, because the market moves.

6.3 Trade in credit is final once accepted. Once you accept an offer and we take possession, the transaction is complete and cannot be reversed. Please be certain before you hand something over. If you need time, take it. We would rather you think it through than regret it.

6.4 Your representations. By trading an item to us, you represent that:

  • You are the lawful owner and have full right to sell or trade it
  • It is not stolen, lost, borrowed, consigned to you, or subject to any lien or claim
  • It is authentic to the best of your knowledge, and you have disclosed any alteration, restoration, trimming, resealing, or repair you are aware of

6.5 Identification. We may require government issued photo identification for a trade. We inspect it to confirm identity and record only your name and that identification was verified. We do not record or store identification numbers unless a law or a lawful request requires it. Where a state or local law requires a secondhand dealer record, we keep only what that law requires.

6.6 Minors. We do not accept trades from anyone under 18 without a parent or legal guardian present, who must complete the transaction.

6.7 Stolen property. If an item is later shown to be stolen, we cooperate fully with law enforcement, surrender the item as directed, and may seek recovery of the credit issued from the person who traded it. Knowingly trading stolen goods is fraud under Section 20 of the Terms of Service.

6.8 Authenticity discovered later. If an item is later determined to be counterfeit, altered, restored, trimmed, or resealed and this was not disclosed, we may reverse the credit and pursue recovery.

6.9 Cash versus credit. Where we offer both, trade in credit is offered at a higher value than cash, because credit comes back to the store. You choose which you prefer.

SECTION 7 — EVENT PRIZE CREDIT

7.1 Store credit awarded as an event prize is issued to the winning attendee's account and is not transferable.

7.2 Prize credit is not redeemable for cash.

7.3 Prize structures, scaling, and substitutions are covered in the Event, Ticket and Organized Play Terms.

7.4 Prizes and winnings may be taxable. Reporting is your responsibility.

SECTION 8 — VOID AND MISUSE

8.1 We may void a credit balance obtained through fraud, a reversed or disputed payment, a promotional error, a reversed trade under Section 6.7 or 6.8, or a violation of Section 20 of the Terms of Service.

8.2 Where a balance is voided in error, we restore it in full.

8.3 Reselling or attempting to transfer store credit is not authorized and voids the balance.

SECTION 9 — UNCLAIMED PROPERTY

Where required by applicable state unclaimed property law, unredeemed balances may be reported and remitted to the state. If that happens, you may still be able to claim the funds from that state.

SECTION 10 — CHANGES

We may update these Terms. Changes will not reduce the value of credit already issued, and will not add fees or an expiration date to a balance already in your hands.

SECTION 11 — CONTACT

Credit at the Vault does not expire, and we do not nibble at it with fees. That is the whole policy.
