How Prime 151 Began
Prime 151 Collectibles began in early 2025 when my sons and I rediscovered Pokémon together. Like many collectors that year, the Scarlet and Violet 151 set pulled us in with nostalgia and new excitement. It bridged the collectibles I grew up with and the world my kids were discovering for the first time.
I’ve always loved comics, cards, anime, fantasy, and the thrill of the hunt. As a military veteran, determination and discipline were already part of me, but I needed the right reason to channel them into something new. My family became that reason.
We spent weekends opening packs, exploring card mechanics, and going to conventions, comic shops, card stores, and pre-release events together. The joy in their eyes brought me back to my own childhood: opening sports and Marvel packs, flipping through my first comics, and remembering the stack my uncle gave me that started it all.
Those moments sparked the idea behind Prime 151: a place built for collectors, inspired by family, strengthened by discipline, and fueled by a genuine love for the hobby.

Our main storefront at prime151.com anchors the Vault, supported by eBay, TCGplayer, CardTrader, and our expanding presence at conventions and marketplace shows across New York and the East Coast. We’re also preparing our first physical storefront, a dedicated Prime 151 space that will bring the Vaultkeeper experience into the real world once it opens.
